Health enthusiasts in U.S. and Canada are on the trails, encouraging people to use bikes to explore both sides of the Detroit River. According to the Associated Press, on Sunday, those involved released a so-called “vision map,” connecting emerging greenways, trails and bike lanes. Organizers are hopeful that the greenways of southwestern Ontario and southeastern Michigan will be linked by a permanent bike lane on the Gordie Howe International Bridge.
