The Harlem Globetrotters are known for making amazing shots and entertaining crowds for several decades. As they get ready for their upcoming world tour, why not set a record in the process.

Earlier this year, the guys from Dude Perfect broke the World record for the highest basketball shot made at 533 feet!

World Trick Shot Day is the first Tuesday in December and in honor of that the Harlem Globetrotters did what they do best - trick shots! One of their members, Buckets Blakes, scaled the Tower of the Americas in San Antonio to see if he could break the United States record by 50 feet.

So, why not the World record? It was done in Switzerland in September.

As previously mentioned, the Harlem Globetrotters are making their way out on the road again beginning December 26th. Here are the dates locally where the Globetrotters will be...

Wednesday, January 18th - Wings Event Center - Kalamazoo
Thursday, January 19th - Kellogg Arena - Battle Creek
Sunday, January 22nd - Van Andel Arena - Grand Rapids

They also have dates at The Palace of Auburn Hills (January 1st) and in Ypsilanti (January 20th). If you want to get up close and personal, they will be at Michigan City (Indiana) High School on January 24th!
