Hickory Corners Man Killed In Head-On Crash

A Hickory Corners man is dead after a head on collision Monday afternoon in Southwest Michigan.

The crash occurred around 2pm at US 131 and M-139 in Berrien Springs in Berrien County.  Authorities say that a northbound SUV crossed the median and crashed into a southbound van.

When authorities arrived, the driver of the van, 38-year-old Jason Morse of Hickory Corners, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the SUV, 28-year-old Joseph Jeffery of Indiana, was treated and released.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
