High School Basketball – Athens Rolls St. Philip at Home

The St. Philip Tigers busy schedule continued on Monday with a trip to Athens to battle the Indians.

It's the second game in four days for the Tigers, who are coming off a win over the Colon Magi Friday and have a make-up game on the road against Litchfield Tuesday.

It was just one of three boys basketball games on Monday in the area, as the holiday schedule slows down the quick start of the season. There were also two girls games Monday, including a crosstown battle between Battle Creek Central and Pennfield.
