High School Basketball – Late Free Throws Doom Harper Creek

It was a night of opportunity for the Harper Creek Beavers. Ending a five-game skid, hosting one of the leaders of the Interstate 8 and the debut of a transfer student all were part of an exciting night of basketball action.The new Harper Creek player is Dom Gibson, a junior guard who moved up from JV to Varsity at Pennfield last season. Gibson would make an instant impact for the Beavers against the Parma Western Panthers.

There was a lot of action Tuesday, as all five city teams played for the first time on the same day early in the week.
