High School Football Recap – Week 2

Our High School Football Game of the Night saw one powerful offense and a stingy defense.

It didn't come from the home team though, as the Battle Creek Central Bearcats were unable to match up with the Portage Central Mustangs in their first meeting in eight seasons.

Jim Hughes and I have the recap here, including all of Thursday's football scores in the Cereal City and surrounding areas. Three other city teams were in action and opening conference play.

Don't forget, a couple teams play on Friday to head into the holiday weekend.
