High Speed Chase Ends in Arrest

State Police Troopers chased a fleeing suspect into Battle Creek last night.  Police say the driver took off at high speed when troopers tried to pull the car over.  Battle Creek Police Officers laid down stop sticks at the intersection of Columbia and Capital which flattened one of the car’s tires, forcing the driver to stop near Glencross and Minges Creek Place.  The suspect is being held for fleeing and eluding and on suspicion of Driving while Intoxicated.
