Hit and Run Vehicle Located

Battle Creek Police located the suspected vehicle, involved in Saturday’s hit and run incident. The vehicle was located in the 100 block of Goodale Street.

According to authorities, the accident took place on East Goodale Street and Hillsdale Street, shortly after midnight.

A 60 year old disabled Battle Creek man was found unresponsive at the scene. Investigators believe he was struck while riding on an electric mobility scooter. A witness reported seeing the striking vehicle flee the scene.

The victim of the hit and run has been hospitalized, and remains in serious condition.
