Homer Man Dies After Fighting With Son

A Homer man who was injured while fighting with his son a week ago has died.

64-year-old John David Bartley was pronounced dead at Borgess Hospital Wednesday.

His body was sent for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

Bartley was hospitalized December 5^th after he was hurt while allegedly fighting with his 33-year-old son, who could now be facing additional charges according to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.
