A Homer Community Schools employee who allegedly had inappropriate contact with former male students has now resigned from her position.

In a post to their website Saturday, The Homer Schools superintendent says that the district learned last week of allegations against a female teacher, and quickly put her on administrative leave; less than 24 hours later, the teacher resigned from her position.

The Battle Creek Enquirer says that Child Protective Services and the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department are now investigating these allegations.

The ages of the alleged victims are not known.
