HS Basketball – Bearcats Outmatched by Grizzlies

An annual holiday tradition continued Wednesday with the first of two nights of the Chuck Turner Classic at Battle Creek Central. The Central Fieldhouse came alive with three games set on Chuck Turner Court. The event kicks off three straight days of High School Basketball action in Battle Creek.

Our Game of the Night on WBCK was the late game with the hosting Bearcats, still searching for their first win on the season, against the undefeated Grizzlies of Ypsilanti Community. It followed a 64-55 victory for Coldwater over Detroit Douglass and a 73-55 win for Loy Norrix over Lansing Sexton.
