I-8 Conference Play Begins: HS Basketball – December 11

New conferences begin their schedules tonight in both the Girls and Boys Basketball ranks. The Interstate 8 Conference takes shape tonight, as the Harper Creek Beavers host the Mounties of Jackson Northwest. The Pennfield Panthers open I-8 play on the road at Parma Western to take on the Panthers and the Marshall Redhawks host the Cardinals of Coldwater.

The two area squads in the Greater Lansing Athletic Conference, Olivet and Maple Valley, begin their conference battles tonight. The Olivet Eagles travel to Lansing Christian to battle the Pilgrims, while the Maple Valley Lions host the Leslie Blackhawks.

Among the city squads, the Lakeview Spartans head to Mattawan to tangle with the Wildcats, and the rivalry between the Battle Creek Central Bearcats and the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants continues in K-zoo.
