If you were looking for a fast-paced, high-scoring affair before the holiday break, it took place in Pennfield Friday night.

In the first home game for the Panthers this season, a Marshall Redhawk squad coming off of a five-overtime battle on Tuesday had just enough legs to top Pennfield 83-76.

Senior Jacob Brubaker led the Redhawks (2-2, 1-1 Interstate 8) with 23 points, while senior Tyler Torrey added 15 on the night, part of five Marshall players in double digits.

Steffen Kinne had a busy night for the Panthers (1-2, 0-1 Interstate 8), as the senior put in 22 points on the night. Junior Deveaire Todd hit five three-pointers on an 18 point night, and junior Ron Jamierson scored 13 in limited action.
