HS Basketball: Lakeview Fall In Opener

Despite a game-high 18 points from junior Anthony Evans, the Lakeview Spartans couldn't shoot their way into the lead as they fell at home to the Coldwater Cardinals in their season opener.

Evans would get all of his points from behind the arc, going 6-of-9 from long range in his first varsity game. Junior Cooper Grosteffon added nine points in his varsity debut and senior Nick Adams chipped in six points.

Coldwater's leading scorer from last year returned to lead all scorers as junior Colin Warner put in 19 points, including 11 in the second half.
