Spartans Power Past Wildcats: HS Basketball

Senior forward TJ Fisk scored 20 of his game-high 30 points in the second half to lead the Lakeview Spartans to their second win on the season 79-70 over the Three Rivers Wildcats. Fisk also gathered 11 rebounds on the night, as the Spartan frontcourt was the driving force in their win, ending an 11-game losing skid. Senior Donte Tuggle added 16 points and senior Hunter Bost corralled eight rebounds to go with 13 points.

Adam Reed led the Wildcats (4-14) with 21 points, 12 coming in the first half. Johnel Stevens added 13, with Cameron Cottingham and Tate Ellifritiz putting in 11. Ellifritiz added some excitement on the night, hitting a three from three-quarters court at the buzzer to end the first half.

The Spartans host the Gull Lake Blue Devils on Friday night.
