HS Basketball: Redemption

The month of February brings several things in High School Basketball, including the second time through the conference schedule. It's the case tonight in the Interstate 8 as the Marshall Redhawks will host the Pennfield Panthers for the second this season.

Since their first meeting, the Panthers have been 4-4 following their December tilt and will look to return to the winner's column tonight on the road. With nine games remaining, tonight's road test will be just one of three remaining road games on Pennfield's schedule. They currently sit in sixth place in the I-8 and still have a chance to get back in the title chase.

The Redhawks have used the 84-78 victory in December to springboard them into the I-8 lead. That win was just the second in their current nine-game winning streak. The current conference leaders still hold on to a half-game lead over the Charlotte Orioles in the standings. Marshall's schedule gets tough following tonight with six of their remaining eight games on the road.
