Only two area teams remained in the Michigan High School Athletic Association's Girls Basketball postseason, and they both were looking for Regional titles Thursday.

The Marshall Redhawks picked up their Class B Regional title with a convincing win over the Otsego Bulldogs at Harper Creek 57-37. The win put them in the State Quarterfinals for the first time since 2013. They will take on the Cougars of Grand Rapids Catholic Central on March 15th. GRCC returns to the State Quarters for the second straight year, where they lost to Haslett. Tip-off on Tuesday is at 7pm at Otsego High School.

In Class D, the Climax-Scotts Panthers were eliminated on their home floor, falling to the Wyoming Tri-Unity Defenders 58-46. The Panthers season comes to a close at 20-3.
