Spartans Go For Two Straight: HS Basketball

The Lakeview Spartans are back at home and looking to capitalize on their first win of the season as they host the Loy Norrix Knights in Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference East Division action. The Spartans clawed their way back in a 48-42 victory Tuesday over the Portage Central Mustangs. Junior Dayton Johnson led the way for the Spartans that night, scoring 12 points while shifting to the point guard spot in the second half.

The Knights will look to find some offense tonight after they were trounced 65-45 Tuesday by the Stevensville-Lakeshore Lancers, their first game in three weeks. Loy Norrix allowed 43 points in the second half alone.
