I-8 Leaders Battle Tonight: HS Basketball

Two area schools head into tonight on losses and look to clog the top of the Interstate 8 with their next win. The state-ranked Harper Creek Beavers had their first stumble of the season, falling to Parma Western Tuesday 78-67. Their veteran squad could be without senior TraVon Johnson for a second straight game, as he battles a knee injury.

After a quick 6-0 start, the young and upstart Marshall Redhawks have dropped two straight, falling to the Charlotte Orioles 78-64 on Tuesday.

Harper Creek remains in a first place tie in the I-8 at 4-1 with Jackson Lumen Christi, while Marshall sits in third with Charlotte and Pennfield, who narrowly got by Jackson Northwest in our Game of the Night on Tuesday. Be sure you join us for a fantastic match-up at Harper Creek tonight!
