Tigers Return To The Den: HS Basketball

Most of the High School Basketball scheduled games take place Tuesday, but several games in the South Central Athletic Association and the Big 8 take place tonight. One city team is back in action tonight, as the St. Philip Tigers look to return to .500, hosting the Rams of North Adams-Jerome at Sheila Guerra Gymnasium. The Tigers also look to stay undefeated in SCAA play, after falling 58-35 on the road to the Union City Chargers January 2nd to keep them winless in non-conference play.

The Rams come in a 3-2 on the season and also sit at 2-0 in the SCAA. After an overtime victory over Reading December 29th at the Pat Paterson Rotary Holiday Tournament in Jonesville, 70-66, they were crushed in the title game by Hillsdale 78-16 the next night.
