Beavers Bounce The Panthers: HS Basketball – March 12

Five Harper Creek Beavers score in double figures as they roll past the Pennfield Panthers in the Class B District Finals. Led by senior TraVon Johnson's 21 points, the Beavers never relinquished the lead in a 84-58 victory, putting them back in the District Finals on Friday as they take on the Delton Panthers.

Sophomore Jeremiah Davis added 14 points off the bench for Harper. James Cadena chipped in 13, and Jack Thompson and Khylen Watkins put in 12 each.

Pennfield received most of their points from the underclassmen, with sophomore Deviare Todd scoring 13 off the bench to lead the way. Senior Brandun Rugg threw in 10 points in his final game, with junior Steffen Kinne scoring eight.
