Basketball tournaments across the land are in full swing, and it continues in our area tonight with four Boys Basketball teams looking to advance to the Michigan High School Athletic Association's Regional Finals.

Our Game of the Night tonight takes us to the Lansing area for a Class A Regional Semifinal, as the Battle Creek Central Bearcats battle the East Lansing Trojans at Mason High School.

The Bearcats wrapped up the District title in Sturgis Friday with a 68-53 victory over the Loy Norrix Knights. It's their first District title since 2008, when the Bearcats fell in the Regional Finals to East Lansing. After starting the season at 4-5, Central has run off 13 wins in their last 14 games with the their only loss coming to Kalamazoo Central, who sits on the other side of the Regional bracket.

The Trojans are undefeated in 22 games, after getting by Grand Ledge 60-57 in overtime in their District Final Friday on their home floor. This year's East Lansing squad is much different from last year, after finishing 12-9. This will also be the Trojans first Regional game since 2008, on their way to the Class A State Semifinals.

In 2008, these two squads played for the Regional title, with East Lansing prevailing 64-43.
