Two area squads remain in the hunt for the Breslin Center, with one looking for revenge. The Harper Creek Beavers had set a goal earlier this year to return to the MHSAA Regionals with one focus - a rematch with the Otsego Bulldogs. The two state-ranked teams will go back at it tonight in Comstock for the Class B semifinal with the winner taking on the other rematch in the region - Edwardsburg and Benton Harbor.

Last year, the Beavers had the early lead and maintained it at the half. The Bulldogs returned to the floor in the second half hungry for a victory and coming away with a 66-60 victory. The Bulldogs would eventually fall in the Regional Final to Benton Harbor in overtime.

Both squads feature seniors that lead their teams in several categories. The Beavers will look to TraVon Johnson, who leads the team with a 20-point average along with five assists and rebounds a game. Expect to see scoring from two other members of the backcourt with Khylen Watkins and James Cadena (17.4 and 15.5 points per game, respectively).

The Bulldogs are led by seven-footer Seth Dugan. The Western Michigan verbal commit averages 19 points a game to go with 13 rebounds and three blocks. Otsego also has a pair of double-digits scorers in Michael Williams (12.1) and AJ Atwater (11.7) to complete the trio.
