The postseason is in full swing in the Michigan High School Athletic Association, with Girls Basketball beginning their district play tonight. Many area schools will begin their quest for the titles on Wednesday, with two of the five city teams in action tonight.

The Lakeview Spartans will host the Gull Lake Blue Devils tonight in the seven-team Class A district, hosted by Holt. The two teams played last Friday at Lakeview with the Spartans coming away with a 48-37 victory, earning a season split with the Blue Devils. Tonight's winner will take on Jackson or Loy Norrix Wednesday at Holt at 6pm.

The Pennfield Panthers will have a tough road to a district title if they earn a victory tonight over the Parchment Panthers. The two former Kalamazoo Valley Association foes will battle in the first of two games tonight at Harper Creek. Pennfield was able to walk away with a 55-51 victory over Parchment on February 9th in non-conference play. The winner takes on the district hosting Beavers Wednesday. Also at Harper Creek tonight, the Marshall Redhawks will tip off with Delton at 7:30pm.
