The Pennfield Panthers are already getting into postseason mode, as they started off their second straight three-game week.

This week is more different, as the Panthers are on the road for all three contests. One similarity is that it starts again with a make-up game from January. It is also against one of their former conference foes.

It was a trip to Eaton County as Pennfield took on the Charlotte Orioles at "The Dome". The two teams last squared off when Charlotte was in the Interstate 8 in 2015-2016. The two teams split the season series.

Since the Orioles left to rejoin the Capital Area Athletic Conference, the basketball success has not been the same. Charlotte has four wins on the season, already matching their total of each of the last two seasons.

For the Panthers, they were looking to continue their winning ways after a 2-1 week and the momentum following last Friday's Game of the Night with the Marshall Redhawks.

Check out the recap of our Game of the Night and all the scores from Monday night. It includes the only remaining Girls Basketball team in the area staying undefeated.

NOTE - I misspoke during the recap. Kyle Liggett led Pennfield in scoring and I accidentally said "Sackett". Don't worry. Derek Sackett had a great game, too. Actually, every Panther did!
