The Michigan High School Athletic Association's Boys Basketball Regionals began on Monday, with one team's dream still alive for a State title. Unfortunately for the Battle Creek Central Bearcats, their dreams were dashed by the Class A state-ranked East Lansing Trojans, as they fell 52-34 at Mason High School in our Game of the Night.

Central couldn't stop the hot shooting of East Lansing junior guard Caleb Hoekstra, who scored a game-high 17 points with four three's on the night. Sophomore standout Brandon Johns would add 14 points and junior DeAndre Robinson had 11 points in the win for the Trojans (23-0), who take on Lansing Everett in their first Regional Final since 2008. The Trojans would hit seven shots from beyond the arc on the night and go 14-16 from the line.

Senior Brett White led the Bearcats (17-7) with eight points in his final game. Jahmiel Wade put in seven, with Cyntell Williams and Juan Warren each scoring six in the loss.

Here are the rest on Monday's scores, with one local team still in contention.
