HS Football – Harper Creek Survives Marshall, I-8 Champs Again

It has almost become a theme for the Harper Creek Beavers this season on the gridiron - late defensive stops, key defensive plays to set up the offense, and working through adversity. For the fifth-ranked team in Division 3, Friday was another on of those nights.

The Beavers also had to do it against one of their biggest rivals in the Marshall Redhawks and do it on the road.

Week 8 saw some fantastic contests, and it all ends Saturday with St. Philip hosting Litchfield for the final regular season home game for the Fighting Tigers.
