HS Football – Lakeview and BC Central Continue Rivalry

We will close out the first third of the High School Football season tonight with a crosstown rivalry with an early meaning for both squads.

It's the opening Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference East Division contest for the Lakeview Spartans and the Battle Creek Central Bearcats in our High School Game of the Night. The Spartans will look to return to the top of the SMAC East after finishing in second last season, and being the only team in the division to reach the postseason.

For the Bearcats, they will look to earn their first win of the season after two competitive contests to start the season.

There are several other fantastic contests tonight and Saturday, including the prelude to a possible champion in the Interstate 8, Climax-Scotts heading east for the weekend and a total of nine area schools looking to stay undefeated.
