Two of the state's top 8-Man squads square off tonight to wrap up the regular season.

The St. Philip Fighting Tigers make their way west tonight to take on the defending 8-Man state champion Lawrence Tigers in one of the biggest games for both squads. St. Philip enters the game undefeated on the season following last week's 45-20 road victory over Portland St. Patrick. The Tigers look to wrap up their second undefeated regular season in their four years in 8-Man.

Lawrence comes into tonight 7-1 after dominating Burr Oak in Week 8. The Tigers loss came on the road in Week 7, falling to the defending 8-Man champions of Wisconsin - Prairie Farm - by a score of 36-22.

These two teams have played each other two times in each of the last two seasons. Lawrence holds the 3-1 series lead in the four total games. St. Philip's lone win came in Week 9 of 2013, when they held off Lawrence 54-50, in their only appearance in Lawrence in school history.
