It's become a broken record for the last three years during the 8-Man Regional Finals.

In the previous two seasons, the St. Philip Fighting Tigers have made it to the finals and hosted the Lawrence Tigers. In both seasons, St. Philip would have their season end as Lawrence would come to the Cereal City and trounce the Red and White.

This season, the Fighting Tigers are stronger than ever and have shown that they can overcome adversity. After tough road wins over Portland St. Patrick and Lawrence to end the regular season, St. Philip overcame an early struggle with Portland St. Patrick to knock them off 55-18 in the semifinals.

Lawrence looks to play spoiler again, but this time as the defending 8-Man State Champs. The Tigers were able to advance following a tough 54-52 road win over Waldron last week.

While the record stays broken, St. Philip looks to shatter it and create a new hit by advancing to next week's State Semifinals.
