We have entered the final third of the High School Football season, and some of the area teams will still have to wait for clinching postseason berths.

Three of Battle Creek's city squads were home with Homecoming festivities on Friday night, with one more team getting ready for their events to take place Saturday.

The remaining two area schools that entered the week undefeated, Harper Creek and Olivet, continue to impress under the Friday night lights.
