Over the last five weeks, the Harper Creek Beavers used an air attack to offset their running game to help provide wins. On a rainy Friday night against one of their rivals, they went back to the ground and earned a 16-14 victory over the Marshall Redhawks in our High School Football Game of the Night.

Former Beaver quarterback Colton Swims led the charge with 131 yards to help in 171 total yards on the night. The special teams also scored for Harper Creek, as Noah Eckert hammered a 23-yard field goal and Brandon Hutson scored on a botched Marshall punt to get the winning score.

The Redhawks got 95 yards through the air from signal caller Kodee Smock, while both touchdowns were on the ground from Chris Upright and Travis Horn.

The Beavers hit the road next week to try to make the postseason as they travel to Lansing Everett to take on the Vikings (5-3). The Redhawks will remain home for a non-conference battle the with Portland Red Raiders (4-4).
