A large amount of marijuana, and stolen power, was discovered after a bust in Coldwater.

Fox17 reports that the Southwest Enforcement team announced December 12 that on November 22, they served a search warrant at a home in Branch County. SWET recovered from the residence 56 marijuana plants, more than 12 pounds of processed marijuana, and around 100 Schedule 2 prescription drugs.

As well, it was discovered that an estimated $72,000 worth of electricity had been stolen from Consumers Energy to power the growing operation.

The bust was the culmination of a five-month long investigation, into violations of Michigan's Medical Marijuana laws. It was not disclosed if any arrests were made.

The Southwest Enforcement Team is a cooperative effort between police in Barry, Berrien and Kalamazoo Counties.
