WEATHER FORECAST:
AccuWeather.com issued a winter weather advisory for the greater Kalamazoo area that remains in effect until 4 p.m. Friday. Here's what it said:

  • Snow showers will continue today through Friday afternoon; snowfall will likely intensify this evening.
  • Total snowfall through mid-afternoon Friday will generally range from 6 to 9 inches, with the highest amounts possible across Ottawa, Allegan and Van Buren counties.
