Jackson Man Shot And Killed Sunday Morning

Authorities are investigating after a Jackson man was killed Sunday morning.

The 27-year-old man was brought to Henry Ford Allegiance Health by a female acquaintance around 4:30 A.M. Sunday, suffering a gunshot wound to the chest.  The man was pronounced dead shortly after.

Investigation shows that the shooting happened in the 400 block of W. High Street in Jackson.  No arrests have been made at this time, but authorities are looking at it as a suspected homicide.
