Starting Wednesday, November 15, we’ll be seeing on and off closures of a portion of Jackson St. on Battle Creek’s west side.

The City says that Jackson between Bedford and Stringham Roads will need to be worked on so upgrades can be made to a 48-inch sanitary sewer interceptor pipe, which feeds to the Waste Water Treatment Plant on West River Rd. While this work takes place, the outermost eastbound driving lane of Jackson St. will be closed at times.

This work is expected to take around three to four weeks.
