It seems like a perfect fit.  Miles for Memories, the Battle Creek organization that organizes the annual walk to battle Alzheamer’s Disease in Calhoun County, is again adopting a section of highway.  They'd love to have you come out to help on Sunday

I talked with Michelle Lennon of Great Lakes Caring  about it this week on the WBCK Morning Show.   Michelle says this will be the third year that Miles for Memories has mobilized volunteers to clean up the clover leaf at the intersection of I- 69 & I-94.

She says they’ll gather this Sunday at 9am at the McDonald’s restaurant in Marshall. She says the more volunteers they get, the more fun it’ll be and the faster the job can get done.  She says it usually takes about two hours.

  • Bring gloves
  • Wear pants or jeans
  • You’ll receive a safety vest when you arrive.

And it you're not able to help out this Sunday, Miles for Memories invites you to join the Walk on September 17 in downtown Battle Creek to make a difference in Calhoun County. Sign up at - itsyourrace.com  Start time is 9am from Wave Square.
