Charges may be brought against a 24-year-old Albion man in Kalamazoo County after a road rage incident along I-94.

Authorities were alerted after the incident occurred on the eastbound side just after 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon. The Michigan State Police stated that the driver of a vehicle tapped their brakes after another vehicle behind them was tailgating. The two vehicles ended up being side-by-side, where finger gestures were allegedly exchanged. The passenger of the first vehicle then pulled out a handgun and may have fired a round at the other vehicle.

Battle Creek Police was able to find the first vehicle in the parking lot of Lakeview Square Mall and arrested the two occupants. The investigation continues.
