A Kalamazoo man was arrested, and more suspects might be coming, after a domestic assault investigation turned up drugs and a weapon.

Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety crews responded to the 1700 block of N Church St. on Wednesday, after a victim reported being assaulted by a man with a gun. The man was located walking around, and was apprehended, but no gun was found with him, so a search warrant was obtained for the residence where the incident happened.

Inside, officers found the stolen .38 handgun, along with ammunition, crack cocaine, marijuana and cash. The 29-year-old man was arrested on a charge of felony domestic assault, with drug and weapons charges likely to come.

More suspects might be arrested as this investigation unfolds.
