Kalamazoo Man Wanted for Murder Captured in Las Vegas
The U.S. Marshals Service in Las Vegas, N.V. apprehended George Michael Mack Monday at about 6:30 p.m.
Police arrested 26-year-old Mack without incident as he walked out of a drug store. Mack is currently lodged in the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas, while he awaits extradition to Michigan.
Mack was arrested on a warrant for the murder of Edward Bell on Aug. 9 in the 1300 block of N. Rose St.

ABOUT THE MURDER:
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded to the 1300 block of N. Rose St. at 1:54 p.m. on Aug. 9, 2015 due to a report of a shooting and a man down.
Officers located 26-year-old Edward Bell of Kalamazoo outside the home with a gunshot wound to the chest. Bell, who was visiting the residence on Rose Street at the time of the shooting, died on the scene as a result of his injuries.
