Kalamazoo Weekend Shooting Leaves One Injured

A young Kalamazoo man was sent to the hospital early Sunday morning, after suffering a pair of gunshot wounds.

Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Officers responded to reports of gunshots in the area of Douglas Ave and Mason St, around 3:30 AM Sunday.  Shortly after officers arrived, they learned that a 23-year-old man suffering gunshot wounds to the face and leg had arrived at an area hospital, in a private vehicle.

The man was hospitalized, and is listed in stable condition.
