A school district near Lansing, that’s home to a one-room schoolhouse, is turning to the voters for money. The Associated Press reports that a two-year tax increase of 4.5 mills would support Strange School, a school that offers education from Kindergarten through fifth grade. According to the Lansing State Journal, enrollment is capped at 20. The millage makes its way to the ballot, next week, in Eaton County.
