Two Suspects Sought In Kalamazoo Armed Robbery Monday Night

Two suspects are being sought after an armed robbery took place at a Kalamazoo business Monday night.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says that the two entered a business in the 3700 block of Mt. Olivet Rd. around 10pm Monday, one armed with a handgun; the two jumped the counter and forced the clerk to the floor, and stole money and cigarettes before fleeing.

The KDPS conducted a K-9 track in the area shortly after the robbery, but the suspects were not found.

The first suspect in this robbery, based off of surveillance footage, is described as a black man who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and white gloves with a bandanna covering his face. The second suspect is also a black male, and was seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a pair of black gloves, along with a bandanna covering his face.
