Ladybug Legislation

Ladybugs are on the move in the Michigan House. A bill has been introduced by State Representative Ed McBroom, on behalf of Connor Royer, a third grader in Escanaba. Connor learned that Michigan doesn’t in fact have a state insect. He started a petition and collected thousands of signatures to convince McBroom to introduce the bill. The bill hasn’t yet been heard in a house committee, but McBroom wants Connor to come down and testify.
