The Lake Michigan snow machine is kicking up, leaving measurable snow as far east as Battle Creek, with about an inch since Tuesday morning. Some roadways have slippery spots waiting for Wednesday drivers. More snow is expected as the day goes on Wednesday in Battle Creek, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

A couple of inches is expected in Calhoun County, though Winter Weather Advisories are posted to the west, including in Kalamazoo County where 4-8 inches of new snow is expected by Thursday evening.
