Lansing Police Search For Man Who Stole Girl Scout Cookie Money

Lansing police are looking for a man who stole a cash box containing “hundreds of dollars” in cookie sales from a Girl Scout Sunday.
Police say a 49-year old Lansing woman and her daughter, who has disabilities, were selling the cookies near the entrance of a Kmart store on the city's south side.
The woman said she briefly walked a few feet to her car when she noticed a man standing behind her daughter’s table. The suspect grabbed the cash box with the day’s sales, ran to his pickup truck and drove off.
Police were unable to find the man or the vehicle and he remains at large.
