Lassen Automotive Athlete of the Week: Nikki Tucker – Marshall

As the Girls Basketball teams get ready for the final week of the regular season, the Marshall Redhawks have continued their winning success from last season.

After going 20-2 last year, the Redhawks have rolled to a 16-1 record entering tonight and a state ranking in Class B. One of the leaders is junior co-captain Nikki Tucker. Nikki was an honorable mention All-State player in Class B as a sophomore last season and part of the Battle Creek Enquirer's All-Area team.

Her success on the floor has led to several invites to elite basketball camps and showcases. She was also named team MVP last season.

She's also successful off the floor as a straight "A" student.

Tucker averages 11.2 points a game and 7.8 rebounds during this season, leading the Redhawks in both categories.
