A Battle Creek man was arrested on a multitude of charges yesterday, following a lengthy police chase.

Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived at the scene on Briarcliff Street around 11:30am Monday, after getting calls of trouble between the 21-year-old suspect and his girlfriend.  When deputies arrived, the suspect fled on foot and got in a car, leading to a chase involving the Michigan State Police and BCPD along with Sheriff’s deputies.

The suspect was later found in an apartment in Springfield, and tried again to flee on foot, but was arrested.

He had two warrants for probation violations and is now facing several other charges.
