With less than 50 days until the election, the ups and downs in the presidential campaign are being watched and analyzed more and more closely.

On The Richard Piet Show, we have periodically checked in with Peter Wielhouwer, Associate Professor of Political Science at Western Michigan University, who has offered perspective on the challenges of the campaign and how each has responded.

When we spoke with Wielhouwer on September 15, 2016, the Hillary pneumonia ripple effects were still being felt, and Donald Trump had just received a less-than-tepid response to his visit to Flint.

Hear Wielhouwer's thoughts on those developments and the campaign thus far by clicking the player below.
