Five to eight inches of snow on Saturday?  Maybe freezing rain?  Bring it on!  It's time for the 2014 Festivus Cardboard Sled races at Leila Arboretum.  This year's weather will make for perfect conditions and tons of free fun for area residents.  This annual event celebrates winter and is put on again this year by the Battle Creek Metropolitan Area Mustache Society, who provide a lot of great fun local events in our area throughout the year.

Festivus runs from 11a-3pm at Leila Arboretum, beginning with a Chili Cook Off at 11:30am and the Cardboard Sled races beginning at 12:15pm.  There will be prizes for the ugliest sweater and most interesting sled designs.  Kids get free hot dogs, popcorn and cotton candy.  There will be warming tents for those who get too cold.   Just remember, no complaining about winter is allowed!   Dress warm and celebrate the season with the Moustache Society at this great event!
